Staff Lawyer, Haley Hrymak, will discuss Rise’s research findings on the ways the housing crisis makes survivors vulnerable to higher levels of violence, housing precarity, and financial insecurity. This training explains the challenges survivors face in finding safe and affordable housing and the way this directly affects their family law matters. The objective of this training is to equip family law lawyers and professionals with the specialized knowledge they need to best support survivors navigating the family law system and BC’s housing crisis.
